Garmin Fenix 6 Series; Garmin Fenix 7 Series; Garmin Venu 2 and Venu 2 Plus; Garmin Venu Sq and Venu 2 Sq; so can drain the battery, and it's one you'll also need to pay $1.99 for. So now I am at 3% and have no way of charging my battery. If it were a really old Garmin, that would be one thing. But I paid $600 for it and got 1.5 years worth of use and really want to figure out if there is a fix or if the Fenix 5X Plus is a lemon. Thanks for any help

But don’t over customize the face, as it drains the battery more quickly. This watch face is compatible with all the Garmin watches, including; Garmin Forerunner series (245+), Garmin Fenix 5 and later versions, Marq series, Vivoactive series, Tactix Dela, D2, and Vivolife. Fixed an issue where the device would report an incorrect battery percentage after unplugging from external power. Fixed an issue where the device could experience unexpected battery drain after using Wallet. Fixed an issue where the device will reboot if using Broadcast Heart Rate with the system language set to Russian. The biggest power drain is potentially the backlight, so it's worth checking the backlight settings. Each 10% backlight draws about 1.5% of battery per hour, so 100% backlight will deplete the battery VERY fast. I find 10%-20% backlight works fine. Also check the length of the time-out period.

Real life battery duration in the wild. I purchased the fenix 5X largely in part for the battery life during ultras. I'm coming from a suunto A3P. I've had the fenis for 8 days. I'm still getting used to the garmin system and managing the features on the watch. So far the watch has been great and the gps seems to be very accurate.
